Amazon.com Review Great for commuters, office professionals, and one-coffee-drinker households, this personal coffeemaker brews 15 ounces of coffee directly into a stainless-steel travel mug. The mug has a rubber handle for a safe grip and a lid to keep coffee hot. It's tapered to a 2-1/2-inch-diameter bottom, so it fits most vehicle cup holders. The coffeemaker itself is designed for an on-the-go coffee drinker. It has a permanent filter--no messy disposable paper filters required--and shuts off automatically after brewing. The mug, filter, filter basket, and mug lid are dishwasher-safe, and the coffeemaker can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, it measures 9-3/4 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
Product Description Wouldn't this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go!

Perfect For What It Does July 21, 2008 Purchased this unit (excellent price) just so I could have a fresh brewed cup of coffee at my desk at work. The unit works perfectly (as long as you don't overfill the grounds basket), brews the cup in less than two minutes, auto shuts off, and is a snap to clean. As I said, "Perfect For What It Does".
Be careful about size of coffee grind July 17, 2008 I received one of these as a gift and loved it and used it every day (I am the only coffee drinker in the house). Then I bought some bulk coffee and ground it myself and tried that. It kept getting grinds out of the filter and into the water reservoir and I kept having to clean it. Finally after three months it just died. They sent me a new one (after $7 shipping and handling) and this one is doing the same thing. Now I am almost convinced it is a problem with the grind of the coffee itself (the instructions do not specify which to use). I used an auto drip grind but perhaps that is too fine. Before I was buying pre-ground coffee and had no trouble as long as I did not add more than the 2.5 Tablespoons that the instructions specify. If I added more by accident or did not measure carefully, I had trouble even with the pre-ground. So if you like your coffee strong, I suppose you may want to reconsider this coffeemaker.
I like to Brew 'n Go July 14, 2008 I bought this little coffee maker to use when I am at Mom's house (previously had to use instant there). I tried it out today and it was so convenient for running around town in the car and the coffee tasted so good that I plan to get a second one for my own home - so that I can always have that fresh-brewed cup of coffee to go! It may even replace my 12-cup coffee maker as the coffee seems to taste better this way.
A lifesaver July 14, 2008 I'm a single parent so this device works great for me. I am a 1 cup a day drinker. It is small and doesn't take up very much counter space. I love it and haven't had any problems at all.
Amazing!! July 8, 2008 I bought this a month ago and it works great!! I not only use it to make coffee, but also to make hot water for things like tea.
