Wet dog or cat thoroughly. Massage a small amount of shampoo into animal's coat, being careful to avoid contact with eyes. Rinse. Apply shampoo a second time, massage into coat, allow lather to remain on coat for five minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Towel dry. Use as often as necessary. Persistent cases may require two to three treatments at one week intervals. If condition being treated remains unchanged, discontinue use and consult veterinarian. For animal use only. Excellet shampoo for allergic/itching dogs. July 25, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a lhasa apso wich from time to time starts itching and develops some bad sores. Treatment with shampoos alleaviate the problem just a little, so the veterinarian had to use anti-hystaminic pills and shots. The itching stopped until the cycle started again.
My sister in law gave me a bottle of that shampoo that she already used for her dog (another allergic lhasa). The effect was fast and persistent. I don't need more to bathe the dog every week and the itching disappeared.
A shampoo that really deserves a try if you have a dog with skin problems.
