This gives them the basking area they need without taking away any swimming area. Customer Reviews: Wouldn't buy this item   November 6, 2007 I bought this dock for my female red-eared slider. I would not recommend it at all unless you have a very small or young turtle. The dock is too light, so when the turtle gets on it, it tilts to one side so the turtle is still fully submersed in water. It's also very difficult for the turtle to get on the dock because it is just too light and flimsy. Need something more sturdy!br /br /I'm returning this item!
