 Pemmican brand is good!! September 11, 2008
I really like pemmican brand and this flavor is no different so if you like pemmican I'm not sure why you wouldn't like this flavor.

this jerky is almost inedible because it is so dry. the largest piece is about the size of a half dollar. definitely the worst jerky i have ever purchased and will never buy from this manufacturer again.

It had a good amount of red pepper, but the flavor of the underlying jerky is kind of boring compared to some others. Also, it was extremely hard, even for a jerky.

Wasn't *bad*, exactly, but it wasn't particularly spicy, and I wasn't terribly fond of the texture. Disappointing, since I'm usually a fan of Pemmican. If you like beef jerky to actually be pretty spicy, try Jack Link's jalapeno-flavored offering.
