Its the Rea Deal October 28, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 17 year old cat, has arthritis in his back leg. He had been a little slow in the get-up and usually either moaned or yelped. I found Zuke's in a local store and it worked great. I noticed a real difference in his getting around - he didn't seem nearly so hurting. I went back to get more when he ran through the first bag, and they had discontinued it. Looked all over to no avail. Found it on Amazon for a GREAT price and loaded up. Now the little guy is all set, and he really looks forward to getting his Zuke treats; Wish they made all cat 'medicine' like this, but that's another story.
makes my cat younger September 2, 2007 My cat loves these. They make her act younger, she now jumps and plays again. It may be the chondroitin and glucosamine.
Awesome product! August 13, 2007 I'd been using the dog version of this for about a year on my border collie with dysplasia. I'd cut the dog size ones into bits to use as training treats and dropped a few by mistake so the cat went and gobbled them up. She's a lazy persian cat...not old but very much the "adore me as I lounge on your pillow" type and very persnickity about eating vitamins and such. She went nuts for these things! I bought some kittie versions of the HipAction and she's gone crazy running around, chasing her tail, jumping all over the place...! Now if she doesn't get her 3 tabs at night she literally gets on my bed and smacks me in the nose and yells as me until I get up and give her the nightly treats.
The HipAction made a huge difference for my dog and obviously does the same for the cat. VERY good product!!
These really do work February 27, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Our 14 year old cat has been limping terribly for the past few months. A friend gave me some Cosequin to try, but she wouldn't get within a foot of any food that I sprinkled it on. Out of desperation, and encouraged by the other review, I bought these treats for her. She loves them and we see a marked difference in her movements; she actually did a flying leap the other day.
Great Help for Arthritic Cat December 23, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We started giving our 9 year old, very arthritic cat "Hip Action" about 8 weeks ago. What a difference. After about 5 weeks, she went from "walking around like a raccoon" to playing like a kitten. You can tell her pain is less and she is so much happier. We are very pleased! We tried giving her "Cosequin" based upon our vet's recommendation but "no way" would she take the pill (too big) or eat anything that was sprinkled with it. Hip Action treats are the perfect answer. She loves them and looks forward to getting them every night.
