Wow - this thing really works! July 25, 2008
This thing is amazing. It really does get down where other brushes don't. We have a yellow lab and the brush gets down below the first layer of fur and digs out everything. Completely worth the $30.
Best Brush EVER!!!! July 24, 2008
I just got this in today, couldn't wait to test it out. My husband a couple of weeks ago was installing satellite at a customers house and she introducted him to this comb and I looked into it for my dogs. I have a golden and rott. I was shocked at how much hair I got out of the golden with just one swipe down her back. MUST use this outside!!! The rott too had a lot of hair come out of his coat and didn't seem to mind me using this on him even with the shorter hair. This is the best product I have found I am just upset I only recently found out about it. I would recommend this to anyone with animals that have a bad shedding problem. You will LOVE IT!
Great for furry critters July 24, 2008
I have two indoor cats and two lab retrievers. I bought this to use on all my pets, and it works amazingly (although you really need the larger size to be efficient on bigger dogs). You definitely need to be in a confined area where you can manage the huge amounts of fur, because there is a TON, every time you use it. I wouldn't use it more than twice weekly, because it does seem to get right down to their skin, and if you push too hard or run the brush over the same area too many times it could irritate them. Great product, well worth the money.

Removes a lot of hair; must be used VERY gently; not easy to control with a wriggling puppy; takes time to master; best used outdoors, if possible

I love our Furminator. I have a golden doodle, so I was a bit pessimistic about how it would get through her massive fur. But it's awesome. For the first time in almost 4 years, we aren't covered in fur. Love it. Get it.
