Perfect for a mantelpiece, dining table, or windowsill, each battery-operated candle features a classic-style 9-inch ivory taper with a realistic flickering "flame" and a sculpted golden holder. Built-in timers keep the candles lit for six continual hours daily, and hidden suction cups underneath stand them securely upright-especially useful on small or crowded surfaces. Each candle runs on two AA batteries (not included) for up to 240 hours, or 40 days on automatic mode. --Kara Karll

automatic? January 19, 2008 these candle lights are supposedly automatic turn on/off.. well, they don't work... i bought 6 of them and i'm not happy with them!
good and bad January 13, 2008 The light output for the candle lamps is dim - as was stated in other reviews. But, the convenience of the automatic on and off and being cordless is worth it. One problem is that it is a hit or miss to turn the candles on and off manually, and once that is done it is difficult to get them timed to come on at the same time. I would buy again
Battery candles December 12, 2006 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
These are the best battery operated candles. A realisic candle glow and they do operate as stated. I own a pair of the 9" and the 12". I'm thinking of buying more. Terry in KY
