Excellent! October 6, 2008 This light is perfect for covering the entire page. It works well with both hardcover books and paperbacks.
great product October 1, 2008 I have been using this product for over two months now. I do all my reading at night so it is very convinient. The kighting is very bright and cover both sides of the book depending on how it is adjusted. The best part is that it can be adjusted and moved around yet is very sturdy. I have still to replace the batteries.
Love it. No need for other lights. September 17, 2008 I love this light. I bought it to read my Kindle eBook reader (Kindle: Amazon's Wireless Reading Device) in a dark room (the Kindle has no back light, which is a good thing).
The light itself is very soft--not harsh. The area of light is just perfect to cover the reading area and the quality of the LED light is perfect for reading in the evening.
The neck is very flexible. It's easy to move the light to a position where it won't glare on the Kindle screen, won't point in my eyes, and won't point in my wife's face. She has one too and loves it.
The price is very fair. It's cheap enough to pick up more than one (for other rooms in the house). I'm not sure whey some colors are more/less expensive. I recommend going with the least expensive, since you won't be able to see it IN THE DARK!!! :-)
It runs on three AAA batteries. The first set didn't last very long, but the next set has been working for a couple of weeks.
I'm very happy with it.
Does what I need September 7, 2008 For reading in bed at night, or just whenever.
It provides bright, ample light that spreads out over the whole page. it's designed well so you don't see the bright light bulb directly when you read. it's not flimsy, stays in position. it's moderately priced. it uses regular triple a batteries. what else do you need?
Works great with a Kindle September 5, 2008 What to say about a little book light? It works? It fits the Kindle nicely. My only negative is that it doesn't have adjustable light settings like the one that Amazon recommends for the Kindle. However, that one burned out within a month of getting it so hopefully this one lasts longer.
