 ... it makes coffee October 1, 2008
I purchased this because I live in a dorm and can't have anything with a hot plate, like normal coffee pots do. It's okay, it makes coffee like it says it does.
The coffee tastes a little odd, though. Sort of like plastic. But your average person probably wouldn't notice it-- I drink a lot of coffee and can tell little differences in taste.

I have had this coffee maker for 9 years and it just keeps going. It is fantastic for making a quick cup of coffee any time at any strenght. I recently purchased two more for family members who could not find them locally and they are in love with it too! You can not go wrong with the price either, it will pay for itself in a weeks time!
A little Messy September 5, 2008
I have a finely ground coffee and it tends to make a bit of mess with the grounds. They end up in the water resivoir and on the lid that covers the filter. Pretty good otherwise.
 Brew 'N Go-not good August 20, 2008
Just bought this product and am not happy. Coffee grounds are in the cup of coffee and all over the filter lid. After every cup of coffee, I have to unplug and rinse the entire coffeemaker in the sink. What a mess! I'm ready to throw it out. The coffee is terrible (weak and full of grounds) and it makes a mess. Not worth my money.

This is the second B & D coffeemaker I've owned. The first was damaged in an office accident. This one is still going strong. It's just right for that mid-afternoon coffee buzz and keeps me from drinking the entire 8 cup office pot single-handedly. I recommend this to anyone who needs a small brewer for home or office. It's small, unobtrusive and brews a really great cup of coffee.
