What do parents really want in a booster seat--and did you think you'd ever have to ask? Well, besides knowing the seat is comfy and accommodating, parents want two things: safety and convenience. The Healthy Care booster, about the size of a potty seat, gets good marks there, too. In the name of convenience: the seat back folds down and the tray snaps off for easier travel, and the plastic body is easy to clean off. To ensure a safe experience, the seat fits most chairs and car seats (but double check your brand), and has a 3-point harness to secure tots while in a chair or car seat. My daughter loves this and I love that we don't have to use the big bulky highchair at the dinner table. This fits in a regular chair and has really given us more room.
 Great High Chair July 17, 2008
We bought this booster chair 5 months ago. We were in the market for a high chair and are extremely limited on space. The "space saver" high chairs were still too big for our little condo. This booster seat is a life saver. We use it full time at home and we can easily throw it in the car for meals out. Currently my son is 22 lbs and over 30 inches and is still fitting really well. I look forward to a lot more use out of this great little chair.
Easy Clean-up Seat! July 17, 2008
This seat is the best seat for easy clean-up. We switched after using this seat on vacation when my son was about 6 months old (he is currently 17 mo. and ~26 lbs.). He seemed to eat better and pay more attention to meals while sitting in this seat, possibly because it fit him better. In our regular high chair, a Peg Perego one, he would "get lost." It was just too big for him. Also, it's great for easy clean-up. We had just switched to this seat when my son had a poop-tacular accident in the chair. We just put him right in the tub while my husband sprayed the chair off in the back yard with the hose. I'm so glad he wasn't in the fancy high chair!
Wonderful Booster Seat! July 17, 2008
I've brought my 7 month old baby to a lot of restaurants, and it always seems that the booster seats/highchairs that they provide are not safe enough for him to sit in. There's always too much space behind him, the straps don't always close, and the seats don't always look clean. I received this booster seat as a gift, and it's great! Not only does he fit in it securely, but he always has a clean eating and play area. Because I like to carry a small pair of scissors to cut up his food, I can leave the scissors in the tray with the lid on, and not have to worry about losing it!
This Booster seat is great - I can't recommend it enough!
Great High Chair Alternative July 16, 2008
I purchased the Rainforest version of this chair for our second home. I love it and would absolutely recommend it.
My daughter loves to play with the toys and they keep her entertained while I am prepping her food. We have taken it with us to restaurants and it is super easy to fold and take with you. It's also very easy to wipe clean - no creases or other messy spots and it's not so darn big that it can't fit in the dishwasher!
At home we have the Chicco Polly and I would definitely recommend this seat to a new mom over that one - not to mention it is so much less expensive.
