Panasonic Cordless Iron October 8, 2008 Panasonic NI-L70SR Cordless Steam/dry iron replaced a Maytag cordless iron. I use a cordless iron to press fabrics that I use for quilting. Although better than my previous iron, I was disappointed. It does not get as hot as I would like. However, in defense of the Panasonic, no irons today get as hot as the older irons that are no longer made. I would purchase it again because I need a cordless iron.
great iron October 7, 2008 I'm very happy with this iron. It is easy to use and it does stay hot long enough between setting it on the charger. I've always disliked ironing but this iron has made the chore much easier because you don't have the cord to contend with. The iron is also heavier like the old ones use to be which is a good thing because you don't have to push down on it. The storage/carrying case is nice too. Glad I bought this iron.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT September 30, 2008 This was one of those perfect purchasing experiences. The product was well represented, it was shipped and arrived promptly, and it has lived up to my expectations and more. Because we're cutting laundry costs, I have been doing more ironing lately. The annoyance of cords on irons is what drove me to look for a cordless iron. What I have found is one that heats just as quickly, has a stable base that keeps it from toppling off the ironing board, steams clothes, and can be put away in its pretty case even while still hot. The case itself is nice, because it locks on in a way that will not come unlatched as I carry it, and the cord retracts into it for storing neatly. The result in my house is instant cleanup after an ironing session with no more wait to cool the iron. And, the ironing session time is cut dramatically, because I'm not contantly having to go over areas wrinkled by an iron cord. I have no experience with durability of parts, but I definitely recommend the product for looks and convenience.
Cordless Steam Iron August 12, 2008 Spell bound. Awesome product from Panasonic. I've very nice experience with this product. I love ironing my clothes now. The steel plate in this iron is very smooth and slide on clothes. The design, looks are b'ful. No hassle of wire. I never used it steam buttons. Its automatically gives good ironing experience with its bottom nossels that make clothes wrinkle free. Overall, a very good product.
