Like it (once assembled) July 22, 2008 Nice grill. Looks and works well. Took about 2 hours to assemble with mediocre instructions (images but scarce written instructions).
Weber grills are outstanding July 21, 2008 We have just replaced our 12 year old weber with a Genesis E-320. The old grill still works and is being recycled on craigslist. I compared lots of grills and ended up back with a Weber. The current weber designs aren't significantly different than my original weber, but why change a good design. I was a little leery ordering a 200 lbs. grill over the internet, but the Amazon transaction couldn't have been smoother. The grill arrived in good shape and was assembled that evening. The instructions were fairly straightforward and surprisingly with no extra parts left over. This grill is designed like a tank and I'm sure will easily last as long as its predecessor. I tried grilling today, with excellent results. I highly recommend this product.
GREAT GRILL! July 16, 2008 More than I ever expected to pay for a grill, but WOW, was it worth it! Great quality, sturdy and very good looking. Cooks evenly, I don't have to keep checking pieces, they all cook the same. I did have to learn a bit though, after the ol' one burner Sunbeam, but easy lessons with advice from WEBER booklet. Grid cleanup is easy, and drip pan is a breeze. The gas guage is a plus, do not know how accurate it is, but have not run out unexpectedly yet!
Entertaining on the deck is much better now!
Love this thing!
Weber LP E320 Genesis Grill July 16, 2008 This is an excellant grill. Easy to assemble. Quality parts. Heats evenly.Lights easily with battery operated ignition. Only complaint with grill is that the burner controls take up so much space on the right side grill shelf that there is not enough room for a normal 8 " plate. Suggest the Weber offer an accessory thay would provide an full size elevated shelf. Also, the standard Weber cover has side vents that allow rain to get all over the side shelves.
Best Grill Ever July 12, 2008 We've used this grill almost every day since it was delivered. After researching the reviews we decided on this one over a similarly priced infrared grill, and I don't think we could be happier with our purchase. The grill gets up to temp very quickly, the flavorizor bars make the food taste almost as good as it would when cooked on charcoal and it's a Weber - so I know it will last. Assembly isn't that complicated, they say you need two people to do it, but I was able to complete it by myself in a couple of hours. The only con I've seen so far is lack of shelf space on the sides - Weber really should have thought more about knob placement. There may be a valid engineering reason for this design, but it definitely cuts down on much needed workspace.
If you are looking for a new grill I'd say this is the one to go with.
