It would be nice if they were white, but they are not (so I can't hold it against them.) If you properly charge them before first use, and put them in a sunny spot with the solar panels facing it, they light up all night long. Not bad for short New England winter days. They are somewhat short if you get too much snow, you may have to clear off the solar panel part. Otherwise you can put the all over the place for a cool addition to the yard. They are three dimensional and catch the sunlight so pretty. They were very easy to put together and they have an on and off switch if you choose to turn them off. I would suggest anyone to purchase these great lights. Solar Snowflakes   January 10, 2008 The solar snowflakes were easily assembled (they came in three parts that needed to be screwed together) and worked well, even on overcast days.
