This is an incredible device. I swear it is actually smaller than it looks in the pictures. It is so small you can leave it plugged in when you put your laptop in your carrying bag.
Plug this into any USB port of any PC or Mac any you instantly have Bluetooth support. If you have XP SP2 or later of OSX 10.3.9 or later you don't even need to load drivers. (Vista does require that you load the driver that comes with the product.)
I paired this with a Microsoft Bluetooth Laptop Mouse 5000 and it works great. I'll never go back to my wireless mouse with the big dongle.

I love IOGEAR stuff. This is the world's smallest Bluetooth adapter! It is very unobtrusive and as the ad states, you could leave it attached to your laptop, but I would not recommend it. It can still get snagged on something and get broken. The only better thing would be to have a built-in Bluetooth adapter. When will manufacturers learn that Bluetooth is the way to go for things besides cell phones and computers? Anyway, if you do not have a built-in adapter, this is the way to go!
