Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper. Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter? Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Great! July 26, 2008 These are great diapers! They are soft and absorbant, as well as being chlorine-free. Any little step toward more natural living is a good thing:)
Chlorine Free diapers July 25, 2008 I wanted to love these diapers because they are supposed to be better for the enviroment and for babies but after using them, i was so disappoointed. My husband won't even use them anymore. We found at least a few diapers that were defective in every pacakge and they also don't hold moisture as much as Pampers diapers do. We finally gave up and went back to Pampers. I also don't understand why we have to pay extra just because these diapers are chlorine free. Also, we had these diapers under subscription and save program but my next shipment date is set at September eventhough they were supposed to be shipped in July.
Great night time diaper July 25, 2008 We started using these at night after our cloth diapers started leaking too frequently at night. We have never had a leak with these, and they have never irritated my daughter's sensitive skin. The only thing that is kind of odd is that the size 4 fits her the best even though she is only around 20 pounds. I also love supporting an environmentally friendly company!!
What the....? July 24, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just got my second shipment of stage 1 for my two month old. This is a different diaper. It is thinner, the tabs are no longer elaticized so it isn't flexible when she wiggles, and it is cut crooked- meaning the whole thing appears to have been run through the diaper-making-machine unevenly so it looks sloppy when it's on. In addition to this, it is more expensive! I have a whole case-full to find out about the capacity for wetness (the old ones were great). Why would Seventh Generation create such a poor product when they had such a great reputation? I won't be able to buy these again. Chlorine free or no, it has to work.
I used to love them..... July 22, 2008 Ok... I'd heard so many great things about these product and have been using them 4 over a year now. I was all 4 them, until this company wide... "reformulation" of sorts. I'll get into the others later, but about the diapers... The tabs don't stick like they used 2 (so the girls can strip them off easier now), not 2 mention the diapers don't absorb as well as they once did (which means no more overnight use for these). I've also found that here lately, they've been "shedding" the "absorbent" gel all over the babies' bottoms. (I could use P**pers if I wanted that!)
With two sets of twins, I can't afford to constantly carry/change "clothies," So, I bought these thinkin' "...help the environment, and not sacrifice convenience... that's awesome!" The local generic diapers are startin' to show more promise than these, which is sad cuz I'm a huge fan and advocate of natural/holistic health products.
What's really goin' on with this, 7th Gen??? They had something great, and because of some1's tinkering, a good thing has gone bad... Ppl, this is not worth the $42.99, nor your time. Find another healthy alternative while your pride (and wallet) are intact.
