Spray on your dogs before brushing. My dogs settle down and eventually lay down as I groom them. When I spray in their beds they go to the bed and lay right down. There is something about lavender that is so soothing. I have yet to meet anyone who does not enjoy the medicinal, fresh, relaxing benefits of lavender. This works! Just don't over do it by spraying too much. spa dog is sweet   September 28, 2007 Spa dog lavender spray is nice and mild. It doesn't make the fur dirty, just mildly fresher. I first heard of this product in the Whole Dog Journal publication. My long-haired, white and brindle Shih Tzu is in doggie heaven when she is spritzed with this wonderful lavender essential oil product. This is an every evening routine that we both find enjoyable and relaxing. The routine includes the Lavender Spray spritzing product, followed by a light massage, and then a slow, quiet brushing. Total time about 15 minutes. This is Cadie's favorite time of the day. It soothes and calms not only her, but also me, I've discovered. Every inch of Cadie's little doggie body is limp as the proverbial "dish rag" at the end of our session. Doggie bliss! All of the Spa Dog Botanical products are made with the purest form of ingredients. This is so important if you have a pet with a tendency to allergies. The Puppy Suds shampoo is a very gentle product which I use as a tearless shampoo for the head and even around the eyes with no problems. Eucalyptus Flea Spray is an important product here in Florida, where fleas are a year round problem. It's repellent properties are a help in keeping the fleas off the body in the first place. And without the instrusive harmful chemicals that most products use. Throw out the chemicals of all kinds--shampoo, spritz, insect repellents--all of them. Go with the pure non-chemical essential oil preparations produced by Spa Dog Botanicals. We are very happy and satisfied with all of the products we have used.
