great for little pups May 20, 2008
When my puppy was younger-8 weeks to 12, it was a favorite. And when he sees it now he digs it out of his toybox takes it for a little nostalgia shake-party.

My puppy loved it for maybe the first week than he never really played with it again because he got bigger. But i think this is great for puppies or smaller dogs esp at night. After you microwave it for 30 seconds, it's warm and you can smell the beans (or whatever it's made with) inside. I thought overall it was a good purchase for my puppy who loved sleeping with it.

The puppy toy arrived most promptly is very cute and does give comfort to a puppy that is used to sleeping on and around litter mates, it adds just a little more additional comfort for the puppy

First, this toy is about as big as a large hand: if you are under the impression that it is large enough for a weaned puppy to lie on, look elsewhere! It is not a mat, but more of a small, flat, squarish stuffed animal. It might be small enough for a very young puppy, though ~ one not yet weaned.br /br /That said, our puppy loves it. I gave it to the breeder to handle before taking new puppy home ~ as another reviewer suggested ~ and puppy was very sniffily pleased to encounter the warmed cuddle pal before her first bedtime in her new home.br /br /We warm this each night and while I can't say it has "soothed" her in any noticeable way, puppy loves to shake and wrestle with this toy during playtime.

My puppy really likes his pet pal and even though he tugs at it or shakes it alot, it's held up well. Very sturdy product.
