Product Description Do you have a small dog or an older dog? Does Your Pet have difficulty reaching his/her comfortable spot on the couch or on the bed? A solution is Doggy Steps. It's just the right height to help smaller and older dogs step up where they want to go - up to couches and beds. It's also great for pets to step up into cars or trucks. Doggy Steps is essential for pets with hip dysplasia, arthritis, simply old age. It's lightweight and portable so it goes anywhere and no more bending over to help your pet up? so there's less stress on your back too!

Flimsy, overpriced... June 8, 2008 Sadly my 25# dog found this product utterly useless. This product is too small, too short, allarmingly flimsy, disappointingly slippery (even with the faux "sheep" cover my pet's paws slip on its runners), too light (hence it rubberized feet slip on any surface), and the product's price is disproportionate to the blatant cheapness of the overall design and material thereof. Translation? It's an overpriced piece of junk. Maybe if your dog is the size of a guinea pig it'll work great, but otherwise...
not top of the line but good enough... June 1, 2008 This product proves we have to read the description to make sure we know what we're getting. I have 5 Havanese who can't quite jump up to the couch. This litte stepper is good enough for them to use and it's not so big they are intimidated byit. Snap together construction and think covering. The cover wears down quickly with use and from vacuuming. I wish I could buy replacement covers.
saving Angel's hips! March 15, 2008 Angel, our wonderful, jack russell mix has always had bad hips and had trouble jumping up on our bed. At first she was a little skittish of the steps, but within 5 minutes, using the tips included with the steps, she climbed them. She was still a little hesitant for a day or so, but now uses them without even thinking about it. Her hips seem to be much better now that she isn't constantly overworking them.
As an added note, not all dogs will be skittish, we have a little 4 pound maltese mix named Shadow who used the steps right from the beginning with no hesitation at all!
Also, these doggy steps were easy to assemble, my 14 year old daughter and I had them up and ready to go in less than 10 minutes!
We, especially Angel, are very happy with our purchase!
Doggy Steps March 7, 2008 These are easy to assemble and lightweight to move around; great for smaller pets. A good buy!
deluxe doggy steps February 17, 2008 These work great, my Yorkie is almost two years old, some of the beds are too high & when she tries to jump up on them she would fall. With these steps it's much easier for her. I did have to get the fourth step added though. Three steps is enough for the sofa . It only took a little while one day to teach her to use them. Just put her toys on the steps & kept coaxing her to get them.
