 FURminator is Fantastic! July 27, 2008
We love the FURminator! We have a Border Collie named Lucy. Despite everyone telling us she's all "hair and nerves"...she is a wonderful dog. But, the hair has always been a challenge. We had to vacuum the house 3 or 4 times a week. Not anymore! It's great! And, Lucy feels better, too! She doesn't seem as hot this summer. One note; do it outside the first time. There was soooo much hair we took the shop vac outside and cleaned up the big piles. The rain took care of the rest. I have always used a fine toothed, metal, flea comb on her. But, that only pulled out her hair. The FURminator blew the comb away! We got wayyyy more hair off her and she seemed to enjoy us using it on her. No protests like with the comb. Worth the money! I wish Pet Shelters would give one away with every long haired dog that's adopted. More dogs might find good homes!
Excellent product at an unbelieveable price July 26, 2008
My husband is a military K-9 handler and first heard about this product at work. We've spent a week price shopping and found one could touch Amazon.com's price. Great product. In fact we already purchased another one and have recommended the product to our friends.

Bought the large for my German shepherd and man I'm glad i did. When shedding season came around the furminator saved my life! I brushed my dog outside and soon my whole back porch was covered in fur. I never new a dog could lose so much hair and not be balled!!! Buy this brush! nothing even comes close. The best deshedding tool! July 26, 2008
I have a golden retreiver who literally drips hair when he walks. I was amazed at the amount of hair (especially the undercoat) that came out when using this tool. He loves to be brushed with it, it removes tons of hair and his coat is now nice and shiny. Follow all the positive reviews and make the investment.

Just a short note to say "This thing really works." I bought the small one and its the right size for my two forever shedding Corgis.I've seen it retail in stores for as high as $39. Very well made and worth the price.
