Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Automatic laser chaser cats just love! Aim it at the wall, aim it at the floor. Laser beam circles, pauses, circles again.

4 out of 5 stars Good toy   November 28, 2008
Hey there kitty folks!br /This toy is great if you hang it up ... I tied some thick string around the open lid and hung it from my kitchen doorway "low" to the floor. I have 6 cats and two are cripples ... they all love it. If you put it up too high ... it is hard for them to chase the light. But you hang it low about 6 inches from the floor the light spins in a tighter circle and it swinging ... (from being hung) freely keeps them interested. I screwed a cup hook in two different doorways and I change it back and forth every few days ... it breaks up the monotony!

3 out of 5 stars Neat cat toy   November 9, 2008
Great idea that didn't go far enough. My cat gets bored with it after a minute or so. If the entire device rotated/changed position then the entertainment would be better. As it is, it sits in place and the laser beam repeats the same area over and over.

3 out of 5 stars BORING   June 22, 2008
A toy that can operate on its own is a great concept, however this one falls a little short in the entertainment department. The laser beam that is emitted goes too fast for "pouncing" and remains in the same boring, orbiting pattern, with a brief, periodic stop. If the microchip could be modified to produce a varied, slower laser beam, it would be a great toy. As it stands, my cats are attracted to it for only a short time, then they walk away without attempting to "catch" the light.

3 out of 5 stars Good mechanism   May 9, 2008
This toy is good because it turns itself off after a while and doesnt just run itself until its dead. My cats arent very interested in it but that is more because my cats are unusual and dont freak out over the lazer beams like they used to.

3 out of 5 stars Okay   May 6, 2008
My cat does love this product, but not when it is sitting on the floor. If I hold it and move it around - she is willing to chase the beam for as long as I want to play. If it is just sitting on the floor aimed at the wall -she might play - she might not depending on her mood.
