5 out of 5 stars Great toy for aggressive chewers.   November 17, 2008
This is the first dog toy I have gotten for my large boxer that he hasn't been able to destroy. He loves working on getting the treat from it. It provides him with hours of entertainment and it's nice and durable. Thank goodness for this toy, we need more like them out there!!!!

5 out of 5 stars A Ridiculous Apparatus that Works!   October 31, 2008
This ridiculous looking dog bone is an ingenius invention designed to give your pooch hours of chewing amusement. You fix the treats on either end of the ball, and your dog chews his until his little heart is content!br /br /I have an 8 month old Standard Schnauzer that loves this toy! He will chew on the bone long after the treat is gone. The ball provides a spring-action; the bone is made up of hard plastic which has, so far, withstood his powerful chewing.

3 out of 5 stars Great toy, but "gnawhide" rings need to last longer.   October 21, 2008
I am a huge fan of Premier's products and toys for dogs. After our dog trainer recommended them, I purchased several for my standard poodle puppy. The Bouncy Bone toy is a great treat for my dog and keeps her occupied for a few minutes. If the "gnawhide" rings were made to last longer, I'd be thrilled. My dog is able to get both rings off in less than five minutes, which tells me there's not much of a challenge. I do like the fact that the toy unscrews and the ball can be used as a separate toy.

2 out of 5 stars So far no luck   October 14, 2008

So far my dog isn't interested in this toy at all. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that. Concept for the toy is great but I guess you've gotta have a dog that actually likes this to work. Maybe he'll show interest later. After all he is new to toys.

4 out of 5 stars Good for tough chewers, but not for lengthy entertainment   September 17, 2008
My dog is Shiba Inu/Mini Schnauzer mix. I'll tell you what, this dog CHEWS. Toys made for large-breed heavy chewing dogs do not stand a chance against this little guy. He also has the attention span of a doorknob, so he has many many toys which we rotate through to keep him entertained.br /br /This toy in particular has stood up rather well. There are tiny little dents on the ends but it's not falling apart. However, without the rawhide treats, my dog won't touch it. He doesn't even bring it to me to play fetch (granted, he prefers squeaky toys for fetch games.) The toy may be a little heavy for carrying around via puppy or small dog mouth.br /br /I would recommend this toy to dogs who like the treat-dispensing toys and are prone to heavy chewing, but the fun value is otherwise pretty low. It's good to leave out while at work to give the poor mutt something to work at, but it will not entertain any mammal for extended periods of time.
