Catit filters   December 2, 2008 These filters are essential to keep fur and other debris out of the pump. If the fountain is used without filters the pump soon becomes noisy and has to be cleared. Very dependable Filter   November 23, 2008 I have one fountain and 4 cats that use it. It does a good job of keeping the water fresh and clean, especially since one likes to use it to wash his feet. A must have   June 29, 2008 Without this, the water is just water. It helps to filter the water so my cat drinks more. I've tried to go without the carbon filter, but she doesn't seem to drink as much when/if I do. Great filters   June 8, 2008 These filters are great in the fountain they are designed for. My cats love the water fountain. My only complaint is you have to keep an eye on sludge that might build up from dry cat food. Somehow my cats manage to drop food in the water sometimes.
