 worked for my stressed cat November 12, 2008
Feliway has worked wonders on this stressed bedroom kitty. He was losing weight and licking his belly bare. I installed a feliway diffuser and within a week he was his old self and still is. He's a 14 year old rescue cat and I don't know all the background that may have led to this, so Feliway is on the menu for some time to come.The 6 pack refills are a budget saver.

I've used the Feliway diffuser for a couple of years now for my highstrung indoor cat. She tends to start over-licking and hyper-kicking particular spots on her coat until they bleed. The vet approach is a cortizone injection. But there are only so many of those that a cat can have without developing diabetes. In the longrun, it's better to 'calm' her with the Feliway product which keeps her happy and playful - and without skin irritations. Buying the refills online makes it possible to keep a supply on hand at an affordable price. If you have a stressed out cat or a cat with problem behaviour, it's worthwhile giving this a try.

Really mellows out our crazy cat. No more meowing all night. She just sleeps all night. We can tell when it's time for a refill because she starts getting crazy again!

Although I read some reviews that were iffy, I decided to try this product. One of my cats (a rescued feral that we have had for 10 years) had taken up urinating in inappropriate places-- most recently into floor registers. Ugh! Cleanup has been a huge problem. So Hercules was going to the vet for the Big Sleep unless we could solve the behavior problem.br /br /The long and short of it that this has done a great job in stopping that behavior. I am using three dispensers near the three locations that he had targeted. Now I find him sleeping just opposite one of the dispensers, a sure sign that this comforts him. br /br /This is my second cycle with this product. The bottles have actually lasted somewhat longer than the company states. It is worth every penny to keep our household sane.
