Best dog toy!! December 11, 2008
I have a golden retriever/sharpei mix that totally destroys all soft pet toys within an hour. He rips them apart, pulls all the stuffing out and gets the squeaker prize which I then have to take away. I first bought this bat in Oct 2007 and to my surprise it lasted till about Aug 2008. Extremely long! He did eventually get to the honker (not squeaker) in the bat's stomach but the head is still stuffed. This is the longest lasting stuffed animal toy that I have. I just bought 5 more (to save on shipping) this October and it's almost the middle of December and they are still intact. I released 2 for him to play with our other sharpei and they are still in whole condition!! I am saving the other 3 for the eventual dismantling, but until then, they have something fun to play with. We think that the squeaker irritates him and this low honker noise in the bat is somehow more attractive to make him keep it instead of tearing it out. I love to hear him honking the bat!!
