Without this my cat would have a very dirty cat box December 28, 2008

I have owned this product now for two years and LOVE it. Those other automatic cat boxes can't compare. It hasn't had a single problem. It takes more than a week to fill up the bottom with my big 15 lb cat so I hardly have to do anything with it. It is easy to wash when it needs it, and I used to live in a two cat household and it did well then too. You don't have to buy expensive litter like you do with littermaid or other "rake" type boxes. Smell is almost completely eliminated. I also like that you don't have to buy "special" bags or boxes for the waste area like you do with most other automatic boxes. Now the only question is when will this death star cat box make it into the pet stores like Petco and Petsmart so more people can enjoy it?

I like all aspects of this litter machine except for the fact that it's large and I'm having a hard time finding the proper place in my home to put it. It also can be a little noisy when it's operating. The kitten adapted quickly to it and uses it without hesitation. I wanted something that would keep our dogs out of the litter box (sorry if this is something disgusting) and it works well.

I have had the Litter Robot for over 5 years. We just replaced the unit with another new Litter Robot and have no regrets. It is worth every penny, no work to clean out the litter box, my cats always have clean litter and no smell. I have tried all the other gimics and they don't work. I clean my robot once a week with 2 cats...no more cleaning litter boxes...love my cats...but that part was bad. Buy it and you won't regret it!

This is the best automatic cleaning litter box I have ever owned. I have owned 4 Littermaid Atomatic Litter Boxes. I have always scraped and cleaned them every day. The Litter Robot LR11 is so easy to maintain and I only empty and change the bag (kitchen size trash can bags) holding the waste about 2 times a week. My 2 cats were a little leary of it at first but I mixed some old litter in with the fresh litter plus I sprinkled Catnip on the surface. That really did the trick. I thought it was a little pricey but after receiving it, seeing the design and performance, I easily give the Litter Robot 5 Stars

This is a fantastic auto cat box! The box operates as expected and is a source of amusement for our cat. She absolutely loves to watch the box cycle and also loves a continuously clean box. Do note that you may need to adjust the sensor setting for smaller cats. The instructions indicate that the factory setting works for most cats but we found that our 8 pound cat wouldn't trigger the sensor to clean the box.
