Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash. The Easy Walk Harness is simple to use and easy to fit. Your dog will love it as much as you will! Unlike a collar, the Easy Walk Harness never causes coughing, gagging, or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone, not on the delicate tracheal area. Traditional harnesses can actually encourage dogs to pull harder because of the "opposition reflex". That's the reflex that makes sled dogs do what they do. The Easy Walk Harness redirects the pressure through the front leash attachment. And, the patent pending martingale closure tightens slightly across the chest and shoulder blades when your dog attempts to pull forward. Measure your dog around the rib cage to determine proper fit. 12"-16" Girth = Petite (Teacup breeds), 15"-20" Girth = Small (Jack Russels, Shelties, etc.), 20"-28" Girth = Medium (Border Collies, Spaniels, etc.), 26"-36" Girth = Large (Labs, Goldens, Rotties, etc.). 34"-46" Girth = X-Large (Giant breeds). 'TWEENER SIZES ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Does your dog fall in between 2 sizes? Check out our "in-between" sizes for that perfect fit! 14"-18" = Petite/Small, 18"-24" = Small/Medium and 22.5"-34" = Medium/Large.

5 out of 5 stars Good harness   September 26, 2008
Our little frenchie pulls a a lot, but not with this. Tweener size is perfect for his 23 lb little built body. Love knowing we are no longer straining his neck. Stitching is very good and if breaks you can get a replacement from the company.

5 out of 5 stars The very best solution for a pulling dog!   September 27, 2007

The Easy Walk Harness is the top-of-the-line tool if you have a dog that pulls on the leash. Take a moment to fit it *properly* and you'll never get frustrated with your pulling dog again. The Premier company had complaints about ill-fitting harnesses and responded with "tweener" sizes for those hard to fit dogs. br /br /To get the proper fit, read the directions and look at the pictures they provide to be sure the fit is good. Each section of the harness is adjustable for a custom fit. br /br /Certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, I highly recommend this harness for anyone who has a pulling dog.

1 out of 5 stars Not for dogs low to the ground.   August 30, 2007

I had to return 2 of these harnesses (and got dinged a 20% restocking fee from this seller - on top of the cost of shipping both ways). This harness does not work with all dogs. Both my dogs fit the "girth measurement" but the loop where the leash attaches drags on the ground. My two dogs were able to walk out of the thing and kept getting their front legs tangled up. Also there is one dimension where the harness can't be adjusted so you might find, as I did, that the girth measurement is correct, but it still is too big for your dog. The description should have warned the owners of "short" dogs that this would not be a good choice.br /br /If you want to try this out on your dog, buy it from a dealer who will refund ALL the purchase price without a 20% restocking fee. It's too risky otherwise. br /
