I bought the small one and its the right size for my two forever shedding Corgis.I've seen it retail in stores for as high as $39. Very well made and worth the price. Furminator Rocks!   July 26, 2008 News about how well the Furminator works has spread through our Greyhound Rescue adoption group like wildfire. You have to be careful with the greyhound's bony frame when using it but it is an awesome tool. I used it a few times the first couple of days and my dog hasn't shed since. A grey start to the summer. Furminator Medium   July 25, 2008 I can not believe how much hair I've removed from my 2 cats & dog. I would not go any smaller or bigger in size. This size is perfect for my cats & 40 lb. dog. FURminator does work!   July 25, 2008 The FURminator works great for deshedding our Husky. She doesn't like it and doesn't love to have her fur brushed like some reviews I've read, but she is just that way. I let my friend try it on her Golden Retriever and again it worked great. They got enough fur off of her to make another Golden! And thier dog did love being brushed. I wasn't sure if the FURminator would be worth the money, but for the price I got it on Amazon.com it was well worth it! It's as good as I'd hoped it would be   July 25, 2008 This is one of those times a product lives up to its hype. The (medium) brush works really well on our cat and two dogs. Our Rottweiler/lab (short hair) has never liked to be brushed, but now does. When he sees the brush in my hand our border collie/lab (med length hair) gets so excited he literally jumps three feet in the air. And man, does it ever get the hair out. Am glad I took the risk.
