 Helpful for dogs with joint problems July 25, 2008
My Golden Retreiver is 8 yrs old and has arthritis and mild hip dysplasia in one hip. He has been on Synovi soft chews for several years with great results. If I miss just a few days I can see a decrease in his activity. As he also has seizures and some mild allergies I decided to try the low allergen formula. It is working just as well as the chews but he isn't wild about the flavor. It has more of a molassas smell than the beefy smell of the chews. I mix it with the canned dog food with his other medicine so it works out okay. I would like it better if it were in a chew form..much less messy...but that's not the fault of the product! The product helps my dog want to play a little again so I'm happy!

Great for my dog that has severe allergies and needs this suppliment for her hips. Doesnt seem to have any taste or if it does, she doesnt mind it as she eats her food and she is picky.

Although these are expensive, we keep feeding it to our dogs to help keep their joints healthy. Our one dog had Lyme's disease and our other dog has mild hip dysplasia. Although I can't say that it has made a huge difference in their health, it has not hurt them.
