could be better February 7, 2008
Harder to install than a tension baby gate, but it's good enough to not return it. It is nice and low and the door is a cute idea if you have a very small pet, I guess. I use this gate to keep the neighbor's dog off my deck, and leave the door open to let the squirrels come and go without jumping onto it (because when they push off it, it loosens a little.) It is NOT at all as secure as a tension baby gate, but it has kept the sheltie next door from terrorizing my cat through my sliding glass door.
