Not a choke collar May 12, 2007
I love this collar. Our dog is med to large and likes to safeguard our house against strangers. If she is outside or on a walk I can grab the loop part of the collar, keeping her under control without worry that she'll slip out of her collar. I don't like to keep a tight collar on her so this is the perfect solution.
When we take her for a walk we use a gentle leader so we still have the option of grabbing her martingale collar for extra control if we meet somone on the walk she doesn't like the look of.
She had one of these collars but it was getting too small and I was thrilled to find this company selling them on Amazon. The description was martingale but the picture was of a normal collar so you can go by the description if they haven't changed the picture. We also got the matching leash which is great too.
Both are great quality and will last a lifetime for us.
