4 out of 5 stars squirrels good, squirrel house not so good   September 10, 2007
I got this toy for my 3 1/2 month old whippet. He absolutely loved it - especially the house. Unfortunately, the squirrel house only lasted 2 weeks because he tore at the light fabric on the inside and started chewing on the plastic disc on the bottom. That was the end of the house, which was his favourite part. He still enjoys the squirrels (VERY LOUD) and loves it when I take them for play sessions in the park.

4 out of 5 stars Would buy again   July 26, 2007
Our 100lb Malamute loves the little squirrels and has chosen them as her favorite toy. We play fetch with them instead of a ball, and use them as her reward for training.

She will pull them out of the log but doesn't seem that interested in the puzzle part of it all.

5 out of 5 stars My puppies LOVE this!   July 25, 2007
I have two pit bull pups that get bored with toys very easily. This is the one toy they have not gotten tired of. They play with it for hours and hours.

The only thing I would reccomend is that you not leave it with your dog when you are not in the room so you can make sure they don't pull the squeakers out

4 out of 5 stars The Squirrels are Loaded   June 28, 2007
3 tiny stuffed squirrels get loaded into a small section of a furry tree trunk, and your dog has to sniff them out, grab the critters by the tail and have a shakin' good time.my little rat terrier enjoys his hide a squirrel, grabs the whole tree part sometimes, or just ferrets out the toys. it's fun for him to play and it's fun for us to watch him play - way better than tv

5 out of 5 stars Terrific idea for a toy!   June 21, 2007
My dog loves this toy and so far, it's held up to the beating she's given it. This toy seems to provide a little more of a challenge than other toys where the dog has to extract the small toys out of the larger one because the holes are smaller. She really seems to enjoy digging and nudging the toy around to get the little ones out. The squeakers in the squirrels have seem to have held up ok. Only one of them works now but the other two lasted several weeks.
