You've got to be kidding. This new A5 clipper is all over the internet for about $140. I almost spit out my Dr. Pepper when I saw that. I haven't bought this yet but just had to comment on the price shown here.

I bought these as a replacement for a set of clippers I've had for several years. I wish I hadn't. My old clippers do a much better job. This product is hard to hold. It's on/off switch is inconveniently located. It's noisy. It doesn't cut all that well. It seems to need constant lubrication with this messy, smelly oil to work at all. But my worst objection is that the unit gets hot quickly ... even at low speed. The blades get so hot when in use that I have to let the clippers cool down several times when clipping my dogs out of concern for their welfare. I have fox terriers ... and I have never managed to clip an entire dog in less than four sessions with this product because of the heat problem. Considering the price, it was a terribly disappointing purchase ... and I am looking to replace THIS now with something else. I won't buy this -- or any product from this company again. I'm sorry I bought the ones I have. For this kind of money I expected a product that works far better than these clippers ever did ... even when brand new.
