 Soft Sided Carrier....a dream! June 12, 2008

Fabulous product! This saved the day for my 16 year old blind, deaf Yorkie. He can't sleep with us anymore as he will fall out of bed, and this carrier can be placed next to the bed where he feels comfy. He just loves it and we use it when traveling or visiting friends. It is a fantastic carrier and kennel.

I used it for transporting four sugar gliders from TX to IN during a 2 day trip. I can fit everything I need for them inside. The framework is sturdy enough to hang a water bottle, toys and their sleeping pouches. It is stable enough to set dishes of food on the bottom without worrying about them falling over and spilling. It's lightweight but strong. The storage pouch and zippered pouch on top held quite a bit of stuff for them. The fleece pad on the bottom is very thick and washes well. The whole cage washes great. It folds down to just a few inches tall and easily stores under my bed. I couldn't be happier with this travel cage.

I purchased two Pet Gear crates for a cross country trip. I loved how the crates went flat and actually fit a tossable kittie litter box in it. My main problem with the crate was that the crate was too easy to bend. Meaning, you could push it forward and the entire crate would list. I have been meaning to contact Pet Gear over it, but haven't so far. I can't find a way to stop it from listing.

It's well-made, sturdy, good looking pet crate. I bought the small first for my 12-pound cat, and it was MUCH too large, so I exchanged it for the extra small and it is just right. Remember that it's a crate, so don't look for the handle.

WONDERFUL CRATE! I had already bought the same crate in the
next size up. I needed the smaller size for use in the backseat
of our truck and for use in our truck camper. Our 7 lb. poodle
goes into both crates by himself and is very happy to have these
little "havens" of his own. I love the fold-down convenience and
choice of 3 openings to access the crate. These portable crates
are not designed for "chewers & diggers". Our little guy is so
comfy at home (with the larger one) and on the road (with the
new smaller size). He has slept in the larger one each night for
almost a year --being zipped in. The zipper is fine & has held
up beautifully. Love the pouch sewn on top for keeping items, &
the carry around bag with a handle that doubles as a leash is
great. Highly recommend for adult dogs. Totally happy with BOTH
crates.
