3 out of 5 stars Overall very good   February 2, 2008

I would say I love this clicker but the last one I had lasted about a day. It could be constructed a little better but it is one of the better ones I've found and the click is very audible.

5 out of 5 stars Puppy loves the clicker   January 25, 2008

These clickers are well constructed and make just the right amount of clicking noise to get the dogs attention. The pup loves the clicker because when he hears it he knows a great treat is coming his way. Believe me, he lives for his treats and is learning very rapidly using this click and reward system for his good behavior. Probably takes longer to train the trainer on just when to click than it takes the dog to learn that when he hears the click it is because he performed the correct behavior and he will get a treat. The pup was house trained is a couple of days. Great product. Always keep an extra one or two around just in case one goes missing.

5 out of 5 stars Best clicker I've used - but I did retire it   December 20, 2007

Don't waste time with the cheap dog-bone clickers. This is reliable and you never find you're mashing the "wrong end" and failing to make the noise precisely when you need to. This was just the right clicker for me and my GSMD puppy when we were both learning marker/clicker training technique. That said, I finally switched to using my voice (I follow Ed Frawley's training advice and now YES! takes the place of click). Why? because with a leash, treats, and other gear there's one less thing to manage by hand, I never misplace my voice, and am always prepared to emit the behavior marker at the correct time! The switch from clicker to voice was no problem for either me or my dog, and there are still uses for these excellent clickers in training.

4 out of 5 stars Okay- could be better   September 15, 2007

This is a better clicker than the traditional square ones found in retail, but is smaller than I imagined. It is about the size of a car remote. It is louder than most and seems to be well constructed. I do like the color as it is easy to spot. The device could benefit from a wrist or neck attachment. I have used it for a week and it has served well.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   July 29, 2007

I have a Bichon with multiple problems. Using this clicker as recommended by her trainer has made all the difference. It takes her out of her psychotic behavior and redirects her attention to positive activities. Highly recommended.
