My tiny Siamese loves this bed, but it is way too small for my other cat... the Siamese is fine with that too. However, we have had this bed for only a couple of months and she has literally dug a hole through the bottom of it. It is not made of a woven material, but is rather like felt. Neither of my cats are declawed and both "knead" with their paws prior to napping. I am going to have to replace this item and it will not be with another of the same.

I just bought this at the local pet store and my kitty absolutely loves it. It's snuggly and it keeps her warm all night. I do think that a big cat probably wouldn't be comfortable curling up in this. My cat is about 8 pounds and it's perfect for her - maybe even a little big.

The bed arrived in the time promised, but the diameter is much, much smaller than what it claims to be. Even a kitten would not be comfort able. Between different family members, we have 6 cats and none of them would have anything to do with it, no matter what we tried. I think the picture show somewhat misrepresents the item (at least there should be a side view of the item and how the cat looks laying in the bed. The bed is a little flimsy, the bottom should be more padded and the sides should be able to roll down a little better. The bed looks just like a fabric version of the cat's water bowl. Maybe it would be better if it truly were 17" diameter, made of different fabric and have more padding in the bottom it would be better. The fabric looks and feels like building insulation.

All of my cats love to sleep and play in the Kitty Kuddler, especially in the winter. I like the gray because it doesn't show dirt. Great value for the price.
