You won't need a trap or even a cat to catch this mouse. I've had two of them and neither worked. One wouldn't hold a charge and the other just plain wouldn't work.

I bought this for my 4 month old Yorkie puppy. He loved it at first but then he would catch it before it got going so it lost all of its initial fun and excitiment. Also the charge did not last very long only a few minutes. I would not recommend it.
