We live and breathe by this playpen at the animal shelter in the small animal room. We don't use it as a circle so much as we use it to block access to places they can get stuck, like between or under cages. At home I use it to go around my bed so they can't run under there. I'd never see them again if that happened! Yes, piggies can go over it, but if you know anything about small critters, you'd know its not really designed to work as a PEN. If you really want something a guinea pig can't leap over, try a playpen that's at least 3 feet tall, particularly if you give them things they can climb on when they're in the pen area. This particular pen is difficult to find locally for me so in my opinion, when you find it, BUY IT!

I had one of these for my guinea pigs. It was fine when they were babies but when they got to adult size they could jump it. The construction is rather poor and the panels tend to bend easy, I only used it for about four months and it was in pretty bad shape by then. Maybe hamsters would be fine in it but anything larger, get a sturdier pen with higher sides.

This works great and my hamsters enjoy playing in the large space it provides. There is room for toys and tubes and lots of fun.

My hamsters called Adrian and he is very enerjetic. I found when i got one of these that my hamster could ascape from it ;Therefore when i get him out in it i have to watch him all the time. Except for that it is very big and spacious and give Adrian alot of fun out of it. I suggest that everyone should try this product because it dos'nt only give Adrian hours of fun but me as well!
