While it doesn't turn bedtime into a campout, the Tot in Mind Cozy Crib Tent II is a great way to keep toddlers and toys inside the tent and pests and pets outside. The domed canopy attaches snugly via Velcro to most standard and sleigh cribs. Setup is easy--almost like a tent--and once on it discourages toddlers from climbing, falling, and wandering. If you have a climbing toddler not yet ready for a toddler bed, the Crib Tent II bridges the gap and will have parents, and child, resting easier. Crib rails can be lowered and bumper pads can still be used. The soft full zipper allows quick access to the crib, and it is compact and lightweight for travelling. Manufacturer recommended age is birth to three years. --Scott Teal

Great item August 16, 2008 My 20 month old daughter loves her "bed house" and I love knowing that she can't jump/fall out of her crib at night. It's a great transitional item.
Not perfect, but pretty good. August 10, 2008 Yeah, this thing frayed after a year of use, and it's not easy to install, but the one-star reviewers are obviously a bunch of subliterate morons. It's kept our wandering toddler in his crib, and he's quite happy under it. Reading the one-star reviews make me think that the internet has "empowered" a bunch of dumb malcontents who should have their mouths taped shut.
A big expensive piece of junk August 3, 2008 I bought this and it wasnt cheap. I got it, followed the directions to put it together. I did everything I was supposed to and my son managed to get out of it in less than a week. I emailed the compnay and they sent a replacement but it wasnt the same model I had previously had but I thought what the heck, maybe this one will be better. My son got out of that one in 2 days. I am trying to get my money back. What a waste of time and money. If I had known how poorly these crib tents would work I wouldnt have bothered wasting my money. I would have given zero stars if possible. The only good thing I can say is that in my dealings with the customer service staff seems friendly and quick to respond but the products are JUNK!
Busy Dad July 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first tent we bought had a bad zipper and we had to return it. The second one we got tore at the seams within ONE month. Infants are going to push and pull on it and it is too poorly made to stand up to the playing. I have had to sew it back together over 5 times already. Think twice before you buy it. Even if you try to return it to the company they will charge you $15.00 plus shipping for a restocking fee. Poorly made and bad company. You would think for the price that they would put a little more thought into it.
Not the best quality product July 3, 2008 We ordered this product after our 19 month old daughter attempted to climb out of her crib. She had no problems adjusting to the tent and actually thought it was really fun when we initially installed it. Here are the problems: the zipper on the tent is really loud and is very long (the length of the crib), so if you place a sleepy child into the crib, you either need to keep it unzipped (which defeats the purpose of the tent) OR zip it and risk waking the child with the loud zipping noise. Our daughter has been awakened on numerous occasions because of the noise. Another negative is that our daughter was able to make a hole in the mesh within the first two weeks we owned the product. This really disappointed us since we were planning on using this product for at least another 6 months to a year. We are going to try to patch it with a piece of fabric, but since it is a net, we are unsure how well that will work. The last major problem we have with this crib is the difficulty in changing the bed linens. My wife is not tall and already has difficulty reaching into the crib, so the tent does not lend itself to making this job any easier for her. Otherwise, this product has done its job in keeping our daughter safely in the crib at night and during naps. We would highly recommend it if the material was more durable and the tent was easier to remove.
