Great Frisbee for Dogs February 27, 2008 This is the best frisbee that I have found for dogs to use. It flys great and it is soft so it makes it easy for them to catch without hurting their mouth. While it is soft it isn't soft enough that they can tear it up easily. I would recommend this frisbee to anyone.
Couldn't do better! September 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After seeing dozens of recommendations online, we decided to try these with our Yellow Lab pup. After almost two years and an average one hour every day, it's finally worn a small hole! We discourage company from playing tug of war with this toy, but despite our efforts they do it often and it's stood up to the pulling. It flies different than a normal frisbee (heavier) so it does take a little getting used to. Within a few days I was able to throw it where I wanted it to go. If you play often, it's safer than a hard toy because it's softer and you don't have to worry about injuries, especially from repetitively catching a hard disc in the mouth. (ouch!) It's soft, strong, and long lasting. Next time we're getting the three pack.
Good Product, But Not a Frisbee August 23, 2007 This is a great product. Virtually indestructable, but don't be fooled! It is NOT a Frisbee. It's a floppy disk that can fly if thrown properly. When it does fly it's never in the direction that you wanted it to go, but my dogs love it none the less. So if you're actually looking for a Frisbee this isn't for you. If you have a dog that does shred Frisbees this will last. But don't plan on being able to actually Frisbee train your dog with this product.
Phil loves it! July 9, 2007 I got this disc at a local pet store for my 95 lb dog and his 50 lb girlfriend next door. This is perfect for them to chase around the park. It's easy to throw, easy for them to pick up and flops around just enough to keep them chasing each other when one of them has got it.br /br /They aren't chew proof, though, and one of the dogs got to it and tore it up. It still flies, though, even in it's condition. I'm getting a few back ups since this is lasting a little longer than the flying squirrel (another favorite) but costs less.
Excellent Dog Disk March 10, 2007 I most often use a chuck-it and a tennis ball with my retrievers, but when the snow's deep I prefer the disks as they are easier to find. They are great, easy to throw, and, because of their flexibility, easy for the dogs to pick them up even on a flat surface. I don't know why these disks are not more generally available. I've only ever seen them on websites, never in stores. With most retrievers the disks will last a very long time, but, of course, there are always those dogs that will chew up anything. In any case, the disks are not meant to be a chew toy.
