 Lovely Brush! December 5, 2008
I just received this brush the other day and I gotta say: I love it!br /br /It worked fabulously. I let the weight of the brush do all the work, just run the brush through the coat. I got enough fur to make a cat toy. At least that's what my cat thought it was!br /br /Both of my cats loved the brushing, purred and everything.br /br /Immensely happy with this purchase.
Great tool easy to use! December 4, 2008
We got our first kitten in July. My husband had never wanted a cat because of the shedding issue. As soon as we got her, I bought the furminator and we LOVE it! Our cat enjoys it and usually falls asleep while I furminate her. (I do it about every four days and it takes me about 10 minutes) We do not have a shedding issue in our house and it is supposed to reduce allergens by 80% (although I cannot swear to that). It is easy to use and the amount of hair that is removed is remarkable. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with cats!

It's basically a comb with cutting edges between the teeth. Great item if you use it regularily -*REGULARILY* is key- on double-coated (long or short hair) cats.br /br /NOT good (at all!) for single-coat long hair cats.br /br /

This tool helped me groom my senior cats. As the cats have gotten older, they are no longer able to groom themselves as well as when they were younger. I could brush them and remove the fur without tugging on the skin. They tolerated the deshedding!!

I have a medium hair cat..but his hair is really very long and thick. He used to shed all over my house and all the time. When I received the furminator, I was very surprised with how good it worked. Although, it didn't do exactly all that I wanted it to do, it really helps with the shedding and it was much easier to use. My cat doesn't like to be groomed, but he sat for this treatment.
