Poster board, paper and the like inevitable fall down...especially if it is exposed to cold temperatures....and it doesn't matter if a large or small amount is used. I was able to track my purchase through UPS and they stated the mail carrier was unable to find my address, yet all of my other oders came through! To this day I have yet to hear anything concerning my order. No need to poke holes or unsightly scotch tapes. Just put a pinch on each corners. And it is very easy to adjust if your poster is askewed. It will not damage the walls if you decide it is time to remove them. br /br /We use it on vases, trophies, speakers, etc. to keep them from moving. br /br /Great to keep picture and painting frames from tilting once you place them on the wall. br /br /Once we save a call to the plumber when my wife's earing fell in the sink. I put a small ball of this sticky stuff on the tip of a wooden barbecue stick. with the help of a flashlight, we were able to retrieve it.br /br /The only thing you have to remember is to keep it away from your carpet as it is very hard to remove it.br / The only stuff that works.   April 7, 2008  2 out of 2 found this review helpful I've tried a handful of other putty and adhesive products to keep the posters up in my dormroom, but many of them last for only a week and then the poster will fall. So far, this 3M/Scotch putty is the only one that holds tight. Highly Recommended, but difficult to find anywhere but Amazon.
