Bought 2-love 'em November 22, 2008 I was leery that my cats would make the transition since the pellets are noisier and likely would feel different to the cats. They made the transition within a week and IT IS WONDERFUL not to have cat litter tracked through (and I use the large litter maid rug), none stuck on their feet AND no odor! The pad gets saturated and still no odor! The only issue I had is one of my cats had a diarrhea episode and regular clumping cat litter would have been easier to clean. Still it wasn't that big of a deal to clean although I wasted quite a few of the pellets. Anyway, I have used every type of litter, had a litter maid, and even bought the huge blue cat litter box from Amazon, but ALL pale in comparison to the odor free ease of this system. Sure the pads are a bit pricey, but the benefit is GREAT. Unless something superior comes out, this IS the BEST litter system out there. I think my 4 cats would agree with this too.
Works with other litter too November 21, 2008 I bought this litter box solely for the high sides. I have 3 cats - my one boy cat won't go into a covered litter box, my other boy cat tends to pee high - over the side of low boxes. My girl cat is no problem. br /br /The cat who won't go into the covered litter box is fine with this one - his head comes over the side of the box. The high sides keep my other boy cat's pee in the box making clean up much easier for me.br /br /I use this box with the regular crystal litter. I line it with a wee wee pad, put the crystal litter in and it is no problem. Very happy with the purchase.
The most wonderful litter box ever and we have 2 cats that use the same one. November 15, 2008 This is the most wonderful product! No odor, no mess, and I will never get another litter system ever. This is so great that you need to get it today!!!
Love This for My Diabetic Cat! November 14, 2008 I absolutely LOVE this system! People think I'm crazy, because I want to tell my friends and co-workers with cats about how great it is!br /br /First - my cat is diabetic, so he pees alot (even though he is on insulin) and its a thick, sticky urine that smells awful and lays on TOP of clumping litter, does not soak in. So, we end up with puddles, sticky gross cat feet, and just a foul cat box scooping experience.br /br /When I got this system, it took us almost 3 weeks to get him to use it, but we followed all the instructions and I talked to the folks at the Help Line - they were great!br /br /TIP-- put the breeze system (without white side wall) in front of your cats covered litter box, so he has to walk through the new box to get to the old one. Then, put a scoop of his waste from the old box in the new one, he'll get the hint!br /br /Now, my cat is using the Breeze entirely. When he pees, it makes only a tiny dark spot in the pellets but immediately they are dry to the touch. The pad is like a huge diaper and WOW can it hold a LOT! With NO smell. I did not realize the cat had started peeing in the new box until I check the pad.br /br /BOTTOM LINE -- after my old foul scooping sessions, this is a dream! Scoop the poop each night (easy with the little scoop they give you - 1 minute), once or twice a week change the pad (1 minute), and once a month you dump the pellets and refresh (3 minutes). Awesome!br /br /P.S. For cost, at my wal-mart, I am looking at approx $12 a month for pads and $6 per month for pellets... way cheaper than the old way.br /br /Good Luck!
Best litter box I've ever used!!! November 13, 2008 "I'm tired of having to constantly feel litter in my bed and all over my carpet. I'm also tired of smelling urine in my room and trying to scoop out mush at the bottom of the litter box. This litter box intrigued me a lot. I heard about it online and thought I'd give it a try.br /br /I have two cats and I purchased one breeze system. After 2 days both cats starting using the new box, so I took out my old box. The absorbant pad that goes underneath the litter tray is basically a big diaper. The urine quickly falls through the extra large litter pellets and gets soaked up by the pad.br /br /After 3 days of them using that box, I took out the pad and it was really heavy, but it didn't really smell unless I got close to it. I could easily take it out of the pan without getting any urine on me. It was all locked into the pad. I folded it up, wrapped some newspaper around it and threw it out.br /br /I usually go through 40 lbs of scoopable litter every 2 weeks, and if you buy the pads in bulk, you can get them for about $1 each. So I'm saving a lot of money and hassle with this set up.br /br /The best part is...NO TRACKING OR LITTER ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!br /br /I may see a piece thrown out of the litter box, but these big pieces are easy to pick up and throw back in the box.br /br /They say the urine pad can last about a week for one cat, it seems about right. I'm going to go through 2 pads per week for my 2 cats.br /br /The litter looks like it will last a long time. My cats have pooped a couple of times, but since the litter doesn't really cover the stools. It's easy to scoop it out without losing too many pellets. The litter should be changed about once a month. I'll see how it holds up with 2 cats.br /br /The drawbacks are:br /-The litter doesn't cover the stools, so it is smelly when they go, but it just encourages me to quickly scoop it out and then spray some air scent, just like when I use the restroom.br /br /-I'm not sure what the environmental impact of throwing all those absorbant pads away it compared to all the litter I was throwing away. I guess it would be similar to diapers, but I don't know how long they take to decompose.br /br /I highly recommend buying the pads and litter in bulk on amazon.com. Otherwise it's too expensive to use this method of litter system. but if money is no concern to you, then this system is definitely the way to go if your cats accept it."
