She especially hates to have cold feet, which in turn makes her feel cold all over. I read the first review on this product, and decided this electric throw would solve her freezing all winter. I ordered from Amazon on Wednesday, and Saturday afternoon, my wife curled-up in cozy comfort to watch TV, or read her book. The cord is long enough, so that she can move around on our sofa, the temperature control lets her be as warm as she wants from top to bottom. I recommend this to anyone looking to add personal warmth to themselves, or their spouse all winter long! decent heated throw.   November 20, 2008  2 out of 4 found this review helpful This throw heats quickly and evenly. However, it is still rather thin and you can feel the metal heating element throughout the entire throw. Their is a setting for hi-medium-low and it automatically shuts off after several hours, which is actually bad because you have to wake up and turn it back on during the middle of the night. I like that you can disconnect the cord and throw it in the washing machine. They are a lovely color. They launder beautifully and become even softer with wear. Most importantly, they do not pill and shed like the acrylic throws. They are sensuous luxuries that I treat myself with when I need extra warmth and comfort. I highly recommend these throws.
