Deeeeelicious!!   September 10, 2008 I purchased these bread mixes intending to use the finished product with bread dipping herbs and olive oil. My guess was right, this bread went perfectly! I baked it in my bread machine and it turned out beautifully with the setting for a medium crust. All I had to add was a little bit of oil and some water. Fresh bread doesn't get any easier than that!br /My only complaint is that one of the boxes of mix did not have the yeast packet included as it should have. Other than that, no complaints at all. The price was also very reasonable. What a great idea it turned out to be.br /br /My first try was some dried, ground chili peppers (I dry my own in a dehydrator); not bad.br /br /Next, I tried some fresh, finely chopped jalapenos. Wow, what a great loaf!br /br /Here's the thing; if using dried peppers, put them in at the beginning. If using the fresh peppers, put them in at the time for add-ins (according to the instructions for your machine).br /br /Enjoy... I was so happy to find it for sale in bulk. It is a little more expensive but worth every penny at our house. br /br /The texture is light and the flavors truly remind one of an old world stone ground clay oven baked loaf. Outstanding! All 4 of my kids BEG me to make it. The smell is incredibly aromatic and wonderful. I actually make and give this bread as a gift, with a pot of soup, whenever a friend needs a "pick me up".br /br /You won't be disappointed with this mix.
