 good product, bad shipping October 16, 2008
Great litter box, I like the Booda boxes. But do NOT buy from Amazon. They pack the box and lid wrapped around and around with a kind of white tape that does not completely come off no matter what you do, and in fact seems to take some of the blue plastic off. Yes, it's just a litter box, but still the permanent large white blotches and streaks make it unusable. I threw the lid out. Keep the bottom around as a spare.

My cat loves it so much that she started sleeping in it before I set it up as a litter box!! She spends all day in it napping and grooming. I am thinking to buy another one so that she can use one as a sleeping box and nother as a litter box. The one I got is pink. It does not go with my room decor but it's a pretty color. The design is very simple and looks easy to clean. The only downsides would be:br /1. My cat weighs only 7 pounds. It may feel too small for large cats (to use as a litter box).br /2. The bottom tray is round, and it may require liners from this particular manufacturer. Or maybe not.

WELL, it arrived and was perfectly fine except the 'air filter' didn't seem to want to stay in place. But that feautre wasn't a factor in ordering this. My house is up for sale and a covered litter box had it's appeal... BUT my 7 year old son whose kitten this was for decided this was not a litter box! It has become the bed of the kitten, for which is works just fine too. LOL.

This is the best litter pan I've ever purchased. At this time, I have only one cat - a finnicky Cornish Rex. She loves her privacy! This pan is also attractive and certainly serves its purpose. It's actually the second one I've bought and I am so pleased with it. It has a charcoal filter in the dome part, which really works. An excellent product!

Pros: br /- Round, small, neutral color. br /- Attractive styling. br /- Hardly any odor (at least significantly less than a traditional open litter box). br /- Cat seems to like it as she likes to "circle" and she gets some kitty privacy. br /- Easy to clean (top of dome easily comes off). br /- Cheap! br /br /Cons: br /- Lip does not prevent litter from coming out when cat digs (but I imagine this is to be expected and it's really not that bad).br /- Liner can become disconnected from base. br /- Attracts dust. br /br /Bottom line: Pros outweigh the cons. We are happy. The cat is happy. : )
