It works on my crazy dog October 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have been told by groomers our dog is no longer welcome because he is unmanageable. Unfortunately his hair is such that he gets mats and collects redwood tree branches. We tried smaller clippers and they just got stuck in his thick hair. I though I was doomed to cut his hair by hand and even then, getting the clumps under his belly was impossible. br /br /These things did the trick, I was able to cut everything off even that sensitive belly area. Knowing what I know now, I would have bought them years ago and saved the money and embarrassment. I highly recommend them to anyone in the same situation.
Oster Groom Master Animal Clipper February 8, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
AMAZING clipper. Fast, relatively quiet, and does the job well. I use it on my kitty's little tummy, so it makes the job a lot easier when she's not terrified of the sound the clippers make. All in all these clippers are worth every penny. br /
Best clipper I've used August 24, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I raise shih tzus and keep 5 dogs in puppy cuts. This clipper is quick, quiet and does such a good job. It has paid for itself over and over. The blades change in seconds and last a long time before they need to be sharpened or replaced. The last clipper you'll ever need to buy!
8 years using Groom Master May 10, 2007 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I Have had my GM for 8 years. I use it to clip my dairy goats for show and I use it on my son's poodle. br /br /The Groom Master is by far my favorite clipper. I also have an A-5, a cheapo and a small rechargable. I have also used a friend's gigantic clipper. br /br /The GM is a bigger blade than the A-5 and cuts a wider path. However it fits nicely in the hand like a chunky flashlight, not too much vibration and not too heavy. br /br /The gigantic clipper took two hands to hold and operate and had a lot of noise and vibration. br /br /I wish it was easier to find coarse blades and maybe a #4 for the GM. But I use this clipper 95% of the time. I think it is very underappeciated.
Great Clipper! October 10, 2006 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
My wife I invested in these clippers and crossed our fingers. Well, in a word they are GREAT! Our dogs look like they just got back from the groomers.
