 Had to buy another set October 2, 2008
I love the pair I bought last year and was always finding that I'd used it and needed it again for something else, so I had to get another set-actually two! I've thrown out all my old ones.
Just what I needed September 30, 2008
I purchased these and the 12" version,,,though they are what I expected I never realized how versatile they are,I previously had the silicon coated tips which was poor utensils for the grill,,,these are great for the grill,skillet and even for dispensing salads and potatoes during a party
So many uses for these tongs July 26, 2008
I've had these tongs for almost a year, and they've held up great. I always wash them in the dishwasher, top-rack, and the locking feature really makes them easier to store in my utensil drawer. Uses for these in my household include: salad tongs (you can use them with one hand while holding your plate in the other... nice!), barbeque and cooking hot dogs, and fetching hot corn on the cob out of a pot of boiling water.br /br /I use this 9-inch length more than I do the 12" tongs, for some reason.

They work well and are a good size for bagels and pastries...br /br /I like the slide up lock better then the cheap-o metal ring around the last tongs we had for our Thursday morning office breakfast.
