 Great Set February 19, 2008
I bought this set about two years ago and still love it. I still get complemented on the set. I do not find it at all awkward to hold. The only comment I have is that in London you are able to purchase individual pieces whereas in the US you have to purchase at least an entire place setting.

We bought this flatware a few months ago and we are still delighted with it. Unlike the previous reviewer, we do not find it at all uncomfortable or awkward to hold. It is attractive and looks as fabulous now as when we bought it, despite frequent use and dishwasher cleaning. I highly recommend this set. It is a much better value to find a retailer that sells the larger set (63 pieces can be found for $299).

When we were shopping for flatware, we decided to get a contemporary looking set which has elegant style and high build quality. We fell in love with this set as it's probably the nicest set you find in most high-end department stores like bloomingdales. The flatware has a unique look to it, the design is not overdone, and the build quality is very nice. So, we bought this only to return it later. The reason for our return is, it just didn't feel good in hand. I felt the handles are too thin to have a comfortable hold and worse, it has square design for the handles which doesn't give a comfortable grip to the flatware. My fingers felt awkward to be holding something square for a long time.
If you are looking for a elegant, modern looking flatware check out iittala's Artik flatware set or WMF Taika Flatware set. Both have better style and build quality than this. We ended up buying the iittala's Artik Flatware set and it's in a class you can't find in any local department stores. Iittala is a Finnish company that makes very modern looking products and this Artik flatware probably is one the best one's to come from them.
