We are buying Synovial Flex Chews for our 10-year old, 105 pound malamute, Jack, who was diagnosed with severe arthritis in February 2010. At first, our vet put Jack on Rimydal, 100 mg, 1 – 2 times per day. I told the vet that I really disliked Rimydal due to the terrible, and sometimes deadly side effects this drug can have on dogs, but because Jack was almost lame I gave him the medicine. I kept Jack on Rimydal for about a month, but then I told the vet that I wanted to try something that was much safer for “my bubby (my nickname for Jack)”. Our vet suggested this product, and gave us some samples to see if Jack liked the product or not. Jack loved this new “treat” so I did a little research on this product before purchasing it from the vet for $65 plus tax for the 120-count tub. I found the same exact product here on Amazon.com for about half the price – I even conferred with the vet before purchasing to ensure it was the same exact product. I am so glad we started giving this to Jack! Not only does he love having his new “treat” but it also works wonders for him. Before putting Jack on Synovial Flex Chews he was almost lame in his lower extremities when he got up from a prone position, but now that he takes his chews every night it’s like he’s 3 – 4 years younger!!!! This will improve even more once he loses another 10 pounds. I would definitely suggest Synovial Flex Chews to any dog owner out there that wants to help their best friend feel years younger and help their pain go away. It’s a MUCH safer product than the anti-inflammatory medications that you can get from the vet. Not only do dogs love the flavor, but they think it’s a treat even though it’s good for them.
I can tell when my dog needs these. He’s a totally diferent dog when he is on them!
Used as a precaution for any joint problems that may occur. Axel loves it and waits every morning for this treat. He is an eleven year old deaf white Boxer just as sweet as can be so he deserves anything that will allow him an easy time.
