Customer Review: Not A Good Choice For Your Pigs
Adding additional vitamins to a guinea pig's water may keep them from drinking as much as they normally would. Besides, Vitamin C (which is essential to guinea pig health) is not stable in water (or sunlight for that matter), so after just a few minutes of exposure, there is no longer enough Vitamin C for a guinea pig to benefit from. Just yucky water. I like to give my guinea pigs Oxbow's chewable Vitamin C. I don't know much at all about rabbits, perhaps this would be a better product for them?
